1st Iowa Offeree in '19 Nephew of Former Hawkeyes DB

Rob, does it seem like Iowa has been more open to offering younger players over the last couple years? I never really heard about as many freshman and sophomores getting offered by Iowa and now it seems like we try to get in on the big fish early on. I think it has helped with players like Epenesa and Benjamin.

Without question. We had no choice. It's been the movement nationally and everybody has to expedite the evaluation process.

And if a prospect doesn't pan out the way it hopes, Michigan just pulls the kid's offer.
 
Damn, Otis could hit and Dwight was a heck of a DB for Iowa back in they Fry era. Good bloodlines!

I think it is a great idea and makes Iowa more known to some of these players who would of overlooked us in the past. Plus it sounds like recruits really like Coach Bell.
