I played golf with Chuck Long a few weeks ago. He told me other than the Iowa-Michigan win, this was his favorite win due to Hayden's ties to Texas.

Whats crazy is that nothing ever comes out of TX, except hot air, yet he came here built a program and spawned a slew of coaches and still does today. If I were a TX fan I would have to be proud of that.

I still have the ticket stub from that game. Chuck Long was the man that nite. I still remember a lot of stunned Texas fans in the bars afterwards. Ever since that game I almost never bet on Texas in bowl games, they struggle when teams can prepare for them.
