'19 St. Louis PG Yuri Collins Discusses New Offer from Iowa

I see a lot of Locure there as well as with the Toussaint kid. Games look similar, height/weight/athleticism are similar. Locure's a step above them, though.

He's got a smooth jumper but doesn't seem to shoot it a lot (at least from that one clip) He seems to be a floor general type and a really good passer and sees the floor. I don't think he's as explosive of an athlete as Noah Hutchins is but it's not all about that obviously. He doesn't seem to like to use his left hand to score around the rim when he probably should. I have a tough time differentiating between some of these guys too much. But I'm only watching 5 min highlight tapes compared to the coaches spending the hours and hours I hope they are on it.

Based on our success recruiting point guards...I'd say your experience is right in line with the coaching staff. Sorry, kind of a cheap shot at the coaching staff for missing on a bunch of top talent at the point.

Ha yeah well deserved though. Recruiting is a bit of a crap shoot though. What translates from HS to college and how do certain kids develop are huge X factors that always remain to be seen

You continue to bang the drum for Locure. Schools interested in him, other than S Alabama, were Drake and North Dakota.

Are you telling us with a straight face that you can evaluate talent from a highlight tape and know better than all the D1 coaches that passed on him? Or are you just looking for another opportunity to impugn FM & Co. for their recruiting woes? Cause if it's the latter, then you have a valid point. But I don't think that Locure is the hill you wanna die on.

If you've followed me closely, you'd know that I haven't just seen highlight videos of him. Same goes for DJ Carton & Pat McCaffery.
Collectively, D1 coaches have more misses in recruiting than makes.
