I'm not so sure about that any more.No open ride for him right now. Wieskamp will takes Uhl's. Dom is the only player we lose after this season.
And, yes, I think the feeling out there is that he will follow his brother to Marquette.
I'm not so sure about that any more.
Wisconsin feels pretty good about their chances with Hauser. Not sure about what?
C'mon, Rob, although I'm sure Hauser entertained thoughts Iowa hasn't been in the picture really from day one. Marquette may get him just because his brother's there but I wouldn't bet on it. There are a lot of reasons Wisconsin has always been in the picture.Of course it does. He's an in-state kid. And it helps the Badgers that Iowa doesn't have an open spot for him.

I was very surprised nobody transferred after last season. I'd bet my left n.. that at least one player transfers after this season, maybe two. Doubt that he comes to Iowa, though. He plays AAU in Iowa. He's teammates with another top player nationally in the '18 class with whom he gets along really well and also knows the McCafferys well.
To say Iowa hasn't been in the picture from Day 1 is misinformed.
As I said, Iowa doesn't have an open scholarship for him so the staff hasn't pursued him as hard as it would if it did. That's one less suitor for him. That helps Wisconsin, which was my point.
Rob he has an ex HS teammate and good friend who transferred to Wisconsin. Wisconsin has been his favorite since childhood. Herro and Davison, two guys he'd be playing with for most of his career, are good friends. His parents have always liked Gard. I don't know where he'll end up but I'm guessing Iowa really wasn't in the picture very long (regardless of the scholarship situation), especially after MSU came into the picture. Right now, I'm guessing UW has at least a 50-50 chance of his commitment. He plays AAU in Iowa. First of all, I never said Wisconsin didn't want the 3 football recruits Iowa picked up. I said we didn't have room for one who we definitely were interested in, nor did we have room for another that we were moderately in and, I believed weren't all that interested in the RB. Those are the facts, Rob. Whether you wish to believe them or not.
Secondly, I never said you never had a chance at Hauser. What I said just a few posts ago was that he "entertained thoughts" just as he entertained thought for others. I guess you have to read between the line that I was inferring your chances weren't very good from the beginning.
Okay, you're right.
