I have said it before when recruits are interested in Sports Management, but I will say it again: this has to be a big plus in Iowa's favor, our Sport/Rec Management program is killing it right now.

Yes, the competition is tough but he’s a good player. Getting him in campus is important. That doesn’t mean he’ll like it more than another place but it’s a process.

Yes I know. It is great work by the staff to get him on an official especially from Florida. At least the weather should be nice.

It is awesome that he is making an official visit. I must say I certainly don't like the odds of pulling a Florida kid away from Florida State and potentially Miami. I would almost bet we haven' done that before.

To be fair, Miami was under NCAA investigation during Rudock's recruitment. That should have an impact on any kids recruiting, plus he was a medical major.

Kalvin Bailey (2005) had offers from FSU & Miami ended up chosing Iowa but had academic problems so didn't stick around long. Top ranked FB in the country as a senior. Same HS (Armwood) as Miller we're hosting this weekend.

Kyshaun Bryan had offers from many blue bloods incl FSU & Miami, just not all at the same time while on his path to Iowa so probably not direct head to head competition.

Fred Barr had visits to Miami, Florida, and FSU but don't know if he had offers from all.
