Life could be worse. Its frustrating losing games like this but we are still capable of really good things. We made our run in March last year. Time to just let tonight go and hope we have a big resume win on Saturday. 18-6 and 7-4 would look just fine to me. As long as we aren't a 7 seed or worse I will be happy
 
Michigan will rip Iowa to ribbons if they play like the last 3 games.
Well, they filled Carver for 1 year, oh well, maybe again in another 10 yrs,

If they shoot 60% from the line and 13% from 3, they will struggle.

Maybe tonight's poor shooting bodes well for them Saturday as the law of averages is in Iowa's favor to shoot better. Or maybe I'm just reaching for anything.
 
I believe I predicted 9 conference wins with 8 or 10 being the ceiling and floor for this team...I'm sticking with that. And people called me out as a troll...we'll see.

Good teams are building identities at this time of year. Guys are earning their minutes...you watch Iowa and there is no identity and no rhyme to reason on rotations. If you have 12 guys then earn the time, Gabe has earned time, Woodbury has earned time, Mike is the motor to this team!!!!, Marble is best off the point, Basabe show us you want it man (otherwise put the two 7's in) White develop a shot and play defense and we will talk, McCabe hit 3's you get to play come in and miss 2 better luck next game, Uthoff come in with some passion you get more time, Jok see you in the future, Ogelsby if and when we see a zone we will send Kingsbury to see you and only then, EARN YOUR TIME. This team should be ashamed of 17-6 and 6-4...this OSU team just gut pasted at Nebraska folks!

Dial in the rotation this team should easily finished 2nd or 3rd in the Big. Right now they are heading for 4th or 5th. Fran must get a set lineup..

I'm not worried about Basabe. Our perimeter players miss opportunities all the time when Basabe, Woody and even White have great position on post ups. They either never see it/ignore it or hesitate to death before making a sloppy entry pass that's too late. Tough for a big man to produce much when he's not rewarded for earning good position.

Maybe we were all stupid for thinking we would go from an NIT team and not making the NCAA Tourney the last 7 years to going undefeated in one of the best conferences in the country and being a 1 seed and Final Four lock.

It's a long grind of a season. It's hard to play great every game. Michigan lost to Penn State last year and still made the title game.

Step back from your unrealistic expectations and enjoy the fact we will hear Iowa's name called on Selection Sunday. Who knows what can happen then. Northern Iowa beat Kansas a few years back. Who knows

Don't I keep hearing from Fran how "spectacular" they are? How could you possibly NOT have them on the floor chucking shots and playing their awesome brand of lock-down D?

Yeah, at the rate we're going, that's what Iowa is going to have to pull of this year, too. I'm starting to think 8 seed in the East with a 2nd round date with Syracuse.

And what unrealistic expectations are you talking about? Like winning a big game on your home court? Cripes, Iowa beat #6 Purdue in Carver in Fran's first year.. A 20 loss Iowa team... I had thought it was reasonable to expect Iowa to win a game like this by now. Guess I'm being unrealistic?
 
The problem with our perimeter guys are they cannot shoot under pressure. They also cannot create their own offense.

It's hard to play great at all when your coach continues to undermine your ability to acclimate to your opponent, the game flow, how the ref's are calling it, if your mates are on or off due to his dogmatic, 4-minute line changes.

But, hey, as long as Michigan lost to Penn State last year -- something that's looking more and more likely for the Hawks, this year -- we should be happy because that means they're going to make the NCAA title game. Who's being unrealistic, now?

We are going to have to beat good teams at some point during the tourney anyways. Its now obvious this team isn't as good as we thought..time to look at the positives man. I expected to win against MSU and OSU at home. It didn't happen. At least we will be able to watch Iowa play an NCAA Tourney game. We aren't going to win it all man..get over it. I can live with it

Just saying..**** happens. And can you please tell me and all of us ONE MORE TIME how Fran is terrible at changing lineups??? We get it man..you are a broken record
