Sorry should be after 5 games the rank is 102.
This sounds right during the era.
Vastly the most overpaid college football coach since "the contract".

I don't even know if I could name 75 D1 schools without having to think about. The fact that a known program like Iowa has an offense worse than schools I can't even name is sad. How can this continually be the case?
 
Here are just a few great programs that have better offenses that Iowa: Louisiana (not State lol), Ball State, Middle Tennessee, Buffalo, Kansas, Connecticut, Army, Toledo, New Mexico, Troy, Iowa State and many many more. A complete embarrasment! Guess how many of those schools' offensive coordinators had never called a play even in pee wee league before the season? NONE!
 
This is not an new phenomena.
Bottom of BIG and FBS offensive rank should be expected for an Iowa football team at this point.

It's frustrating. What's even more strange is ranking even just in the 60-70's would likely have put us at 9-10 wins most years and 2-3 West titles over the last 6-7 years.
 
I am done with the Iowa offense. KF probably has one more good year left year in him and it will center around defense and special teams .

It is like dating a crazy hot chick there is only so much you can take before you have to tap out. Can Iowa surround AJE with 3 or 4 potential pros on D? That's all I care about. 10+ years of this I can't take it anymore. I am all about defense and special teams. The O can do what they do and I will no longer care.

Which brain dead time? It's happened twice. The whole nation will be laughing at us again, like they were back in 2014.....that was until Ferments pulled another smoke and mirrors act, which allowed Barta to bow up up and say "See, take that....I was right after all....I'm gonna double down again, and you can just shove it up your ass Rank Amateurs!!!"
 
The offense already sucked, then KF does something even more dumb than the usual dumb shit he does, and promotes sonny boy, who has zero experience to OC. Anyone with any common sense, knowing that they already have a crap offense, would do just the opposite and go out and hire the best OC money could buy. Not Kirk. Only at Iowa would something like this be allowed.

trj, I think kf needs just 5 or 6 more wins to become Iowa's all time win leader. So, I'm convinced kf steps down after '18 and brian is new hc in '19, after an exhaustive search for a new hc.

You put up with stuff that you normally wouldn't hoping things will change......when deep down inside you know they won't. Then you reach a point where you say I can't do this anymore.

I realize it is not the greatest analogy ever, but I was a couple of adult beverages in watching the steeler game.
