I also see State is taking it to TCU. TCU isn’t what it was in 2022, but they did beat Michigan to make it to the championship game. Something Iowa hasn’t done.

Fainting Irish down 13-30 with under four minutes to play.

TCU caught lightning in a bottle last year and had an average age of like 37. They had a ton on MEN on that team. As for ND, join a conference already you overrated phonies.

Ever since they pulled that fainting Irish crap against Iowa I have despised them.

On a local sports related FB group, I regularly respond with glee to their losses.
Being that St. Louis has so many parochial schools you can't sneeze without knocking one down, I'm often challenged on this.

The one's who aren't Mizzou fans...they ask why I don't like Notre Dame. And they're serious about it. Like there is some expectation that I must adore them for some reason.

It's very simple. They're not my team. So, the overwhelming odds are against me "liking" them.
There is a direct correlation to how much hype a team gets and how much I hate them. And there is a multiplying factor when it is underscored hype.
It's literally how sports fandom works.

But they just can't get their heads around that...that someone would dare to not be enamored with Notre Dame.
