$1 Billion in March Madness Ad revenue - put some money in for better, full time refs

Just saw the NCAA bball tourney is first sports even to pull in $1 Billion in ad revenue. Easily some of this money , only a small bit , can be put back into conferences for better, full time refs.

Maybe then a ref who grades out well will continue to work rather than a ref who "homers" for teams to get more high profile non-conf work. Full time refs paid well enough will hone their craft rather than trying to ref 14 games in one week, flying all over the country, to make every dime they can.

And dont yell at me but maybe the football and bball players could get that stipend.

I completely agree, give the players a little. The university and the NCAA make money off these players it is only fair to give them a little slice of it.

Don't give the playes a nickel, it would ruin college sports.

Do the schools makes billions off the hard work of these kids? Absolutely they do, but thats tough ****. They don't have to play and its no different from any company in the world.
