1-5 against ranked teams.

Last year's National Champion (Louisville) is ranked ahead of us in both polls. They have 4 losses. Guess what. They are 0-4 against ranked teams.

Edit - I forgot to mention that 4th loss was tonight on their home court...to a lower ranked team.
 
Last year we could only beat the bottom feeders up. I don't know what NW has to do, but they have done a LOT more exceptionally than OSU has done poorly. NW, Minnesota and OSU will not finish in the bottom 2-3 in the conference. We beat NW by 26 on the road when they are scorching unreasonably hot. Of course you don't beat Michigan on the road, they're NW with an extra tablespoonful of talent. Wisconsin and MSU losses were nothing like last year. There's a reason we're at 6 and 8 in KenPom and Sagarin. THAT is your body of work right there.

All I really needed to say is that if we equal last year's exact 9-9 finish we inherently performed better than last year's team, even though it would mean going 3-6 the rest of the way. We'd have to lose the home to Michigan and lose out on the road to even out last year's uselessness outside of Carver since we already equaled our road W total from a year ago. This also means losing @ PSU. Even then we'll still get wins against Wis, OSU and Illinois.

No matter what happens, depending on how far we take this equality to last year thing we'll still end up with more quality road wins and at least one TRULY signature win. No, what we've proven is that we're a top 3 team minimum, we've endured absurdities that are beyond our control this year as opposed to last year. After Illinois we'll be halfway, which gives us a home-heavy remainder and a chance for the title against MSU. Of course, after our 2nd-3rd signature win against Michigan.
 
We are really bad at winning 1 possession games with 1 minute left. Fortunately we are really good at not being in that position against teams outside the top 20. We should finish out strong enough to get a good enough seed to not meet up with a top 20 team till the sweet 16. Hopefully by then we get it figured out or get lucky.

Not their first home loss to a lower-ranked team. I notice Iowa catches a lot of **** for not beating the great teams, but Louisville's best wins are UConn and...Southern Miss? The last time they did something worthy of being ranked 12th was last season.
 
If Iowa were 1-5 with 4 losses at home, that would be one thing. As it is we have lost 4 on the road, and 1 at home. We will get some more wins at home this year....

Debunking vs Angry---yeah trust me, it made me happy to do that. Besides, you explicitly said things were the same. That is untrue in every way, shape and form. I merely posted a way, a couple shapes and a form or two, that's all. Also, ND was ranked, Minn and XAV got votes. 3 of those teams clock in at 9-8-7, with 14 and 16 rounding it out. So by saying "ranked", you're really talking Cream of the Crop, not merely *ranked in top 25*.

I'm running out of ways, shapes and forms. Probably enough for one more. You gonna take this??

How can you debunk a 1-5 record against ranked teams? Is there some way that you can change that record? I explicitly said our record against ranked teams is the same. If you can explain how it's different, go for it. If your argument is really convincing, I'd like to see you pitch it to the NCAA. Maybe they'll make an exception and change the record. Lol.
Yeah, You mad. Just don't direct your anger at me. I didn't play in or coach those games.

If you don't understand the difference between games on the road and at home in College BB, then you don't understand college BB. Most of us don't care about your weak AZZ troll attempt, as we understood this before BIG play began.

Homes games: I think Iowa will lose 1 home game this year.

Easier Road games: Minny, Illinois, jNW, Penn St. I have them 3-1 on the road against easier competition.
Tough Road games: IU, Michigan, Mich. St., Wisconsin, Ohio St. I see them struggling on the road VS top competition, going 1-4

So overall I have them at 12-6 in the BIG. That would be 23-8 and probably be good for a #4-#6 seed depending on how they do in the BIG tournament.

What say you, am I crazy?

Not sure I know who clic is. And how is comparing our current record against ranked teams different from last season's record against ranked teams? We lost @ home to a MSU team that didn't have 2 starters. I know you and others will now proceed to bombard us with moral victories and how a 2 point loss is somehow better than a 10 point loss, etc, etc. I'm through with moral victories. I want REAL victories. Or better weather. How'd that be? If I can't have wins over undermanned visiting teams, give me FREAKING HEAT!

There is no moral victory in losing to Mich. St. at home, with our without Payne. Yet to get all panicked about losing on the road to teams that I KNEW we would lose on the road to is just freaking stupid. We have 1 big loss in the whole group of losses you list. Sorry, but them da facts. As a matter of fact you were the one who predicted 10 BIG wins. We are on a better pace than that....why you then freaking out......errrrrr I mean a trolling with Clic?
 
I don't think it's the losses that have me all bent outta shape today. It's this freaking weather! I gotta get outta this state.
