Wrestling gets 10x the coverage it did just 6-7 years ago. IPTV has regressed but ESPN, BIG ten network, flo, internet sites, etc have grown leaps and bounds.

yeah it was a pretty wild day. Very happy for UNI, those guys wrestle their assess off. It's been a wildly unpredictable season so far. Hard to even argue any team could beat PSU at this point w/ as consistent as they have been this year. Hopefully they start suffering a few more upsets.

The officiating was terrible. Both he and Terry (more so Terry I thought) lost their minds on several occasions. But it was just their normal antics yelling, running, jumping, etc.

Well when comparing the two states one obvious reason is quantity. Iowa typically has less than 7000 high school wrestlers. PA usually has about 10,000. 3000+ extra kids in a wrestling heavy state to begin with is going to get you that many more studs. But I'm sure there are other variables...
