No he did actually get laid off on monday two weeks before he ships out so that left me in a tough situation, i had saved the money for the game and was hoping to get us in but at the same time i felt guilty for trying to spend the money with him just getting laid off and not knowing if i would...

i love how so many people took this way out of context....i had saved $150 for the game and yes i had planned on him leaving i will actually get his govt paychecks once he goes in so no big deal...it's the fact i wanted to get two tickets for the 150 i had saved i had been trying for months to...

I didn't specifically come to town for the game i came to see my family and for my husband to see my family before he goes to army boot camp in two weeks.....now my sister and her husband and cousin were all going to the game so I thought it would be nice if i could get my husband in to see one...

But what you don't understand is that i had been looking since 10am all i could find was damn student tickets..... and you don't buy the unemployment thing i guess you haven't been through it then so you can say what you want but til you experience unemployment in your family you don't have...

Amen.....sorry not all of us have thousands of dollars....i drove 6 hrs from indy to see my family and to see a hawk game would of been nice....but like i said i couldn't afford it so i must not love the hawks....geez people seriously some of the things said on these boards are ridiculous....

I also am not rich and don't have much money especially since my husband just lost his job that week on monday so i'm sorry you don't think i love the hawks cause i'm not willing to pay 150 for a ticket when i have a mortgage to pay as well

so is it just me or were the scalpers this saturday really trying to take advantage of us.... it was 30 mins to kick and they were still wanting $150-200 per ticket... I love my hawks but i wasn't going to spend that.....

How much do you think scalped tickets will be going for this weekend? My husband and I will be looking for some on a limited budget...... Is there a way to use a student ticket without an id these days? thanks for any advice... Go Hawks!!

My parents are coming down from Iowa to see us here in Indy and we are going down...it's my husbands last weekend before he leaves for Army Boot Camp so I hope the boys pull out a great win...i was at the last game they played there and that was a very disappointing loss!!! I still need to call...

Does anyone know what section Iowa fans sit in for the Indiana game in Bloomington, I'm looking for tickets to the game but really don't want to sit amongst a lot of hoosier fans considering i live amongst them every day....:-) GO HAWKS!!!

I love watching Sportsnation, but today (11/2) I wanted to reach my foot through the screen and punt kick him....At least there was a little love given to iowa on Around the Horn...saying quite raining on our best season to date...let us enjoy it.....
