    CyHawk Preview with Chris Williams

Thanks for the podcast Jonny, and for doing a VERY GOOD job. I just wish you would have reminded Chris (Hawkeye traitor, current cyclown fan) that: 1. College kids are NOT professional athletes, so you must pick and choose which games you want them to play better in; and 2. So many seasons...

    Hayden Fry

Did anyone happen to see Hayden Fry interviewed on one of the sports channels last night? I saw it from a distance at a restaurant but couldn't hear what he said.

    Soul Searching

http://hawkeyenation.com/2015/off-season-soul-searching-paying-dividends Very good article Jonny. I think you articulated the way most of Hawkeye nation feels. I respect admire and appreciate Ferentz, but it did seem the game had passed him by. The fact of the matter is that whatever...

    Bielema

Bielema can recruit, and the 02-04 run would not have happened without the players Bielema brought to Iowa.

    Stoops v. Ferentz

Bobby Stoops, one of the best coaches in college football, had the humility to apologize to Sooner nation a couple of weeks ago and to accept blame for an underperforming and dissapointing season. What hasn't KF done the same??? I know that the man is one of the nicest human beings and...

HN Podcast with Miller & Deace: Taxslayer, Ferentz & Barta Future

Jon, If Ferentz were to step down today, do you have any faith in the current Iowa admin that they would hire the right replacement? Or are we at the point where change is needed so desperately that we are willing to take that chance? Personally I would love to see Deace's suggestion...

Maybe the kids don't want to play for KF anymore.....

I was having a conversation with someone tonight who said that the main ingredient to the success of any organization is chemistry, and that great leaders, coaches, CEOs, etc... know how to create that chemistry. He also said that Ferentz lost the ability to do that 4-5 years ago.

    Ferentz in 2002 "being aggressive"

I was watching highlights of Iowa v. Michigan (2002), of my favorite games ever. When asked by the ABC sideline reporter what he needed to do in the second half, Kirk said we need to keep being aggressive. So my questions is, what the hell happened to that young man? What was the turning...

    Jon Podcast - Beathard

Did I miss some announcement saying that the OC position is vacant again, or that BF is a serious candidate? As far as I have heard, GD is the OC and for all intents and purposes will be next year. Ferentz is on record earlier this year describing him as "stellar."

Why is it hard to win at Iowa?

No and to the player's credit he said that Fry fought and pushed it the best that he could.

Why is it hard to win at Iowa?

Chuck Hartlieb said something very interesting on the Ken Miller show this week. When asked the secret to Bill Snyder's success at Kansas State, he noted that the Kansas State football program enjoys the full support of the university, and that that is NOT the case at Iowa. This week I had a...
