Please explain your theory. I am interested in hearing about alternative solutions to what is currently in place. It doesn't seem fair that teams can now play for a National Championship without having to play a conference championship game.
Each Conference will be like an NCAA basketball region bracket. The conference champions are the FINAL FOUR. You can also expand each league to 18 or 20 teams with this format. Just add one team to each division every time you expand. You could grow the tournament to 72 or 80 teams.

I know Mizzou officials are denying it, but with the way last year went, wouldn't Mizzou almost have to accept an offer from the SEC? Otherwise, they would risk being without a home if Oklahoma and Okie State got snagged by the PAC 12.
I think the details of the contract show that Texas plans on doing what is best for Texas. They don't seem to have any concern for the other members of the league.
