In my opinion Fran was a great offensive coach and a terrible defensive coach. I think he was a good recruiter. When it’s all said and done in my opinion he was a little better than average as a coach.

Good effort from the undersized undermanned Hawks. Keep it up and maybe they can steal a victory.

I can watch this and marvel even more at just how good Caitlin was. Besides CC probably have just as much talent.

Women are going to lose all the momentum that CC got them pretty quickly if they don’t start playing better. I think Jan needs to go to the freshman a lot more but everybody looks to be struggling right now.

The only thing the men’s basketball team needs to get fans back is great effort. Iowa men’s basketball is consistently at the top of the NCAA in scoring. Their problem is they don’t give any effort on defense and rebounding. We all get tired of watching them go out and let a team continually...

At least the women fought back and made a game of it. I’m watching USC vs Rutgers. uSC is up 71 to 26 and JuJu is still in the game. They’re trying to get her more points. I believe she has 19 right now. I think they’re very aware of what she needs to average to chase Caitlin’s scoring record...

The effort of most of this team in this game was pathetic. Where’s their sense of pride. Unfortunately the women are giving a similar effort right now against Maryland. Pull the upper classes and let the freshman play. They at least seem to care.
