While i disagree and think Campbell will be in Ames for at least the next few years, would it be so bad to get that stepping stone coach if it meant 2-3 BIG titles in 5 years? I know stability is the goal, but it doesnt mean everything.
Sounds a lot like playing not to lose rather than playing to win.
Thats the biggest problem i have the whole ball control offense. I not saying to get in a shootout everyweek, but take some risks. Dont be so afraid the other team is going to score that you're not willing to make a play.
Thats only half truth. Sure its flawed, but look at the number of 5 star recruits compared to 2 star recruits. Some will develop and make it big.
Just imagine this developmental ability if we started out with great talent!
Kick Rutgers out, add ISU. We still get our win each year and we can schedule somebody else in non con.
Really its a win all around, except the BIG would lose out on those NY folk that dont even care about cfb.
Rhule would be my guess, then possibly Fleck, then Campbell in order of probability.
I may be in the minority, but i dont see Matt Campbell leaving for a while. PJ seems to have baught into MN, but i still think hes a weasel.
