Didn't Iowa used to encourage fans to bring canned goods? Maybe that was the Fall Family day event. I'd like to see the Athletic department allow fans/kids onto the field afterwards to run around.

I think this is a great idea but why at Midnight Madness? I understand the timing and the excitement but why not on a Saturday afternoon in the pre, pre season. Instead of just having 5k students, why not shoot to pack CHA during the day. Iowa needs to re-invigorate all Hawkeye fans...
