Antwaan Randle-El regrets playing football due to health issues

I guarantee they do. Not all of them, but I guarantee there are way more Mike Websters out there that went undiagnosed because no one was curious enough too check under the hood. Hell, Webster only got diagnosed because the ME was fascinated by how an otherwise healthy man with what appeared to...

    Tyler Sash

There are people out there who smoke and don't get lung cancer. Doesn't mean smoking isn't a gigantic health risk that can cause cancer.

    Under Armour Balls

The players were asked about the differences between Nike and UA balls. They gave the differences and said those differences were irrelevant. That's the not same thing as just bringing it up out of the blue.

    Under Armour Balls

    1. Maryland shot like **** that night, too. 2. Most of the conference uses Nike, but not all of the other 13 teams. 3. #2 makes it less of an issue for Maryland. They shoot with Nike balls all the time away from home. There are like 6 P5 schools that use UA balls, and this isn't the first time...

    Indiana at Michigan

My feelings on that game are completely dependent upon the health of LeVert. If he's back and 100%, I'll be nervous. If he's not, then I won't be.

Is dale jones going to play next year?

He started a handful of games, I think. Didn't become a full-time starter until his soph year.

Good to see Wagner get in early

I'm much more concerned about Uhl's lankiness than his height/length. He just isn't strong enough right now to really hang with better PF/C's in the conference defensively (see: the way Maryland's bigs ate him up when Woody was on the bench). That can change over the offseason, but until it does...

    If Gesell continues to struggle....

His non-3-point jumper is actually very good. Most of his misses lately it seems have been around the rim.

    Predict Iowa's Ranking Tomorrow

I don't pay any attention to the matchups in bracketology. Getting the seeds right is an inexact science right as it is. Getting the matchups right is like taking a parlay bet on a pair of longshots.

    Peter Jok

Maybe it's meant to try and encourage the ball handler to make the pass over the point man, where the cross-court defender in the middle can jump the pass (like Wagner did a couple times yesterday). That's really the only reason I can think for not having the hands up at the point.

    If Gesell continues to struggle....

Didn't Fran say recently that Gesell had gotten a little dinged up? He's only had a few below average games recently. He averaged 15.5 ppg, 6.5 apg, 1.5 TOpg and was shooting 56% from the floor in the first four games. He's struggled with his shot in four of the last five games, but he's still...

Mark Turgeon's Compliment in Post-Game Interview

So he compliments a good team and still holds his team accountable for their mistakes. BFD.

    There will be NO 2013!!

Barring something behind the scenes that we weren't aware of, McCabe and Marble were the biggest issues. McCabe wasn't a bad player, but his role became too prominent down the stretch as Fran leaned on him more than he should have. And with Marble, the other players on the floor were too often...

Good to see Wagner get in early

Wagner looked better offensively yesterday. If he can develop even just a little on the offensive end by the end of the season, he should be able to provide some big minutes. I definitely like his toughness inside, and he's a real weapon on the 1-2-2 press with his athleticism. The one foul he...

Tyler Sash Mom speaks about his struggles

"You're looking at this through the prism of middle-class suburbia." When said in response to someone expressing doubts that football will continue to exist in its current state, that line implies that it's the suburbian crowd that thinks this is a serious issue and might hold their kids out...

Tyler Sash Mom speaks about his struggles

Again, Fyrowa and I made the only logical assumption based on how you presented your point. Please elaborate on why the fact that we're viewing this through the prism of middle class suburbia matters.
