I must be watching a different Hawkeye team than the OP. I think that outside of the first two games, special teams has done a pretty good job. We knew that there were going to be some learning curves this season, but they have gained a lot of traction recently.

If the Hawks can sort out their run defense problems from the Indiana game, I think Maryland will have a difficult time moving the ball. Iowa will be one of the toughest defenses they have faced this year, and they have an average contingent of running backs. No one elite, but all decent.
