There is no guarantee that Iowa will be better next year. I think there is a chance they could be about the same. Also, if they get a more difficult Big 10 schedule, they could be better but it might not be reflected in the record.
I agree with Chad L. Shorten the rotation. Decide who your top 8-9 guys are and run with them. Fran wants to play too many guys when he doesn't need to.
Also, happy to see a couple younger guys who are known as really good recruiters as well as really good teachers. one thing about NDSU, they have great teachers and know how to spot talent.
I am going to bet right now that Fleck will have a lot of decommits. He pressures kids hard to commit. Just like he did with Creamer and Smith-Marsette.
I had a feeling that Fleck was putting a lot of pressure on these kids. Same with Creamer. He is definitely an aggressive recruiter but I have a feeling he is going to find coaching in the Big Ten a lot more difficult than the MAC
Sucks but slot receiver isn't usually a game changer position. Iowa needs good outside receivers who can stretch the field.
If I was him I would do the same thing though. With how close his dad is with Doyle plus being from I.C. I would want to get out of my hometown and go somewhere else...
I would bet Bryan is as good as Iowa's. I bet they also pick up Stone, Nixon, Wieland, Smith Marsette and Creamer and have no idea about Martin and read Rafdal is down to Iowa and Nebraska.
Just watched and read the piece on Oliver Martin. The kid doesn't seem to be enjoying the recruiting process. Talked about how it changed his life for the worst because he doesn't get any down time with his friends. Specifically says his Dad schedules all the visits. I imagine this is why you...
Interesting that Iowa couldn't get Jafar Armstrong to visit yet he visited Minnesota last weekend and Notre Dame this weekend.
It appears ND and MSU will likely be getting WR commits this weekend which could take them out of it for Martin making it a Iowa - Michigan battle. On TOS there is...
