The “Highest scoring Iowa offense since 2002” gambit

Again, it must be going over your head because you still don't get it.

The “Highest scoring Iowa offense since 2002” gambit

That being said, the offense was better than last year and if they had a QB who was more accurate on throws over 10 yards, and/or a big time RB the offense would have looked even better.

    Daviyon Nixon

Looks like it is floating around on the Hawkeye report pay lounge.

The “Highest scoring Iowa offense since 2002” gambit

I understand your suggestion, but it doesn't have anything to do with what he posted which was specifically about Iowa offenses. It wasn't a comparison to other offenses in the Big Ten which you seem to think it was. Your response was completely illogical in relation to what the OP was...

Based on this response, you don't understand logic.

    Missing Link to Next Level

The biggest thing is that they lack a star on the offense either at QB or RB.

    Daviyon Nixon

Anyone know anything about the rumors that Nixon hasn't been practicing with the team?

Iowa commit Jestin Jacobs picks up tOSU offer

Just have a feeling he is going to flip and don't blame the kid for it.

KF said Fant is a specialist!

What he was trying to say is that he isn't a great all around TE and better simply as a receiver but my point and most people's point to him and BF is so what? IF that is the case, put him on the field split out as a receiver. If Iowa is running 70 plays a game he needs to be out there in 60...

I Really Enjoy Watching Iowa State.

Their QB is a lot of fun to watch as is Butler and Montgomery. Seeing how ISU uses Butler makes me more mad about how Fant is being used.

Agree to Disagree in regards Brian Ferentz

I do agree that he needs some HC experience at a smaller school. Totally different deal being a HC as opposed to coordinator.

Beginning of The End for Kirk?

It is going to take firing Barta for anything to happen. I do think it is the beginning of the end. Next year is going to be worse than this year, especially if they don't find an answer at QB.

Last 5 years Iowa is 7-9 in games decided by less than 7 points

To win close games you need playmakers at key positions like QB, RB and WR. More often than not lately, Iowa has been missing that and you also can't make mistakes which Iowa has done repeatedly this year whether it is in the special teams, or turn overs or penalties or Stanley missing wide...

POLL: Peyton Mansell / Next Year

Well, might as well try them out since the season is going no where fast. Nate isn't injured, he just isn't a good QB.

POLL: Peyton Mansell / Next Year

There needs to be an open competition. If anything I could see Petras being the one that rises up and not Mansell.

    Handling of Fant’s playing time

They already struggle to recruit top players to QB, WR and RB. This won't help.

I Really Enjoy Watching Iowa State.

Their QB is good. He is going to be a pain to face the next 3 years. If by some miracle Montgomery and Butler come back for their senior year, they will have a legit shot to win the Big 12 next year.

    This Tells The Story

Yeah, Penn State has given up a ton of yards through the air which is another disappointing aspect of the game. But if you look at defensive efficiency Penn State is ranked 25th in the country. Wisconsin 44th.

    This Tells The Story

I agree. This is one of the things I have always wondered about. Why can't they recruit stud RBs to play at Iowa? Look at the run of RBs that Wisconsin has had.
