I hate seeing players graduate and move on because there is always the unknowns to come, but in true Hawkeye fashion we have spend much time stealing recruits from Northern Illinois to fill those positions with average players to form another seven win team. Go Hawks

If I was coach I would be looking at my needs and then offering every 4 and 5 star kid an offer, odds are in my favor that a dozen or more kids take interest. I would work on those kids while continue my two and three star back up efforts. Worse case scenario is I waste a few stamps and still...

C- Defensive line is what brought them up to a C- otherwise it would have been a D for lousy play calling, keeping your best players on the bench, not pulling the QB when he was stinking up the game. Playing conservative with the lead, losing leads, can’t get plays to the huddle quick enough...

I see a split, Illinois is really bad. We can probably piece together a team from these message boards and beat them. On the other hand the cornholers are getting better as the year goes on and in typical Iowa fashion we are going the wrong direction and regressing the end of the year.
