I would think that having 3 guys at one weight would be kind of a waste. Wouldn't you want 2 at 125 no matter what. If for some reason your 125 gets hurt you can't have anyone else there if you don't bring 2. For example, if Morningstar gets hurt you could always move Kerr or Jannsen up but...

So Beatty had a lisfranc fracture. What is that and how likely is he to be back by March for the Big Ten tourney? Guessing he had surgery for the same reason Stanzi did. More predictable to recover with the surgery maybe, or is surgery necessary for that injury?

I don't think he wrestled in college. I believe he went straight from high school to training for the Olympics.

I think the time to prepare is irrelevant. Even though Iowa had a month to prepare they still aren't able to simulate what they do in practice. Iowa doesn't have the athletes or the knowledge/experience to simulate GT's offense in practice. You can look at tape for a year but if you can't...

I'd hold off on the Stanzi for Heisman until his stats are more than middle of the pack. Heisman's are given to players with great stats. Not saying that is right, but that is how it is.
