I liked Sullivan because he brought fire to the position, kind of like Drew Tate. He was in it to win it, which led to some bad decisions running the ball and injury wise, but he never didn’t try as hard as he could (and he had to fire up some teammates along the way).

I may be way off base here, but there is a possibility that some potential big donors were approached but refused to contribute as long as Fran was coach. With the right hire, that sentiment could change. If so, it would directly matter who Iowa hires.

Stop letting your boner for Fran outweigh your hopes for the program as a whole. Iowa can (or at least should try) to do better.

Ben has been my first choice all along, but I would have been happy with DeVries. Until McCollum is off the table, I am still optimistic. Regardless, the new coach will give me hope for the program, which has been gone for a while.
