    Pickup Trucks

Did you watch this? What a load of garbage! So many falsehoods I wouldn't know where to start. There may be some truth in the 22 minutes plus but it's hard to pick out what that would be. I worked in auto finance for over 30 years. This included analyzing dealer financial statements...

    Trey Thompson

I don't necessarily think we get this kid but getting him to come visit is a really good sign. A sign that we have some recruiters who are good at selling what this program has to offer. Even if he goes to another program this is an indicator that this staff could reel in some bigger fish in...

    Pickup Trucks

I agree that buying used would be a cheaper alternative. I have to disagree on buying from a dealer. A truck from a dealer lot is more likely to have been inspected and vetted to make sure there are no major mechanical problems. You could even try to find a vehicle that is manufacturer...

    Pickup Trucks

I will throw this out there, Ford has employee pricing for everyone right now if you do decide to go with a new vehicle. That will save you quite a bit. And you can't go wrong with the F-150.

Why do we always F around with this shit?

It's not all that unusual at this level of college BB. Izzo and Hoiberg are two that come to mind right away. Of course, Fran. Which I thought both of his kids on scholarship were worthy of it although I know some will disagree. I think it's all how the coach handles it. It doesn't sound as...

HOF removes 60% win threshold for HCs

I like this move. He really does deserve to be in and depending on how he wraps up his career he may or may not be above the old 60% threshold. It would have penalized him for taking over a roster with little talent to start out with. And, coaching in a place like Maine.

For '22 and '23, the answer is Cooper Dejean.

    Potenial Big Ten-SEC schedule Alliance

I was at that game too. And it was the hottest ever. What I also remember about it was the fact that the water fountains did not work. Had to buy (expensive) bottled water or get severely dehydrated. That game was also Bob Sanders coming out party. The start of a great career.

    Potenial Big Ten-SEC schedule Alliance

Adding an SEC game would be a big boost to the schedule and one that all fans should applaud. One unintended consequence might be losing a home game, at least every other year and the revenue that it brings. Maybe the TV $$ are now enough to offset that to where it would no longer be a big factor.

Ol’ KF Has Rebuilt the “O”

    Nice summary.

Ol’ KF Has Rebuilt the “O”

I read the article, it was excellent. Leistekow really does a nice job, IMO. It's hard not to get too excited after reading this. But, like you said, no excuses.

    Navon Shabazz Decommits

He did say that he is still open to picking Iowa. It's understandable that he would want to look around when the coach that he originally committed to is no longer there.

    ISU Athletics

LOL, I thought about the same thing. I'm sure the fine people of University Heights won't mind giving up their trashy homes for the good of the University.

    Pat Fitz

Fitz is an excellent football coach. I'm not sure the people doing the hiring at Iowa could look past what lead to his firing at Northwestern, fair or not. And, he is a defensive coach in an offensive world of college football. For that reason, I would not want him as our next head FB coach...

    Spring practice

The other corner that caught my eye was Jaylen Watson. IIRC, he played last year as a true freshman. He looks the part, now can he put it all together. And you have another transfer cornerback coming in from the transfer portal from South Dakota State.

    Predict 2025 (Spring Version)

I don't think this year's d-line will be what we've had in the past but they may not end up being the weak spot we think. I am comfortable with the d-ends we have starting in Llewellyn and Hurkett. You also have Brian Allen as a third end and he may end up being the best of the bunch. It's...

    Spring practice

Left tackle had Trevor Lauck with the 1s. I didn't pay particular attention to the line play really. But he had a false start or two, which is fairly typical. I mentioned that Llewellyn was in the backfield a lot, he could have been the primary blocker on some of those plays but I can't say...

    Spring practice

Yes, to your point, our passing game was pushing the ball down the field. Not a bunch of horizontal throws and screen passes. And as I said, we had some nice completions.

    Spring practice

I went to the practice and I'll throw out a few tidbits that got my attention. I thought the two QB's that played the majority of snaps looked pretty darned good. I talking about Jackson Stratton and Hank Brown. Stratton looked pretty impressive on the first drive of the 11 on 11 portion of...
