Stanzi looks like a MUCH improved QB over last season. I was VERY happy with his performance today. 0 INT's in two games for Rick....great job by him.

I was pretty comfortable with this game until I saw the wind...it is blowing hard. ISU has a DB out....it is tough to take advantage of that in this kind of wind. Hopefully Stanzi takes note of that and doesn't loft it up into the wind like he did against Indiana last year.

Yeah, I thought blitz pick up was actually pretty good for the first game...the did quite a bit of blitzing up the middle and our guys did pick that up OK.

Did we ever have a good offense last year? I'd say we didn't. Notice I didn't say we'll have a bad season if you don't score 50....I'm simply saying that if we don't score 50, we aren't going to have a real explosive offense.

This is kind of why I made my prediction....It's pretty rare to not score 50 at all in a season for Iowa....so I have to think we'll do it tomorrow....if we don't score 50 points tomorrow...we aren't going to be as good as I think we should be.
