If I was a big time recruit I would flirt with any school that had interest - why wouldn't you? Suck as much as you can out of the other schools and then go to your pick. Nothing is a guarantee with a high school kid, but I wouldn't read anything into any of it.

Minneapolis was actually a really great place to live. However, from the moment I heard the entire metrodome chant "Who hates Iowa?! We hate Iowa!" during a game that wasn't even against Iowa, I have hated the Gophers.

I lost a couple hundred bucks betting on Nebraska last year. It was definitely worth it because I don't miss the money at all but 12-0 lives on forever. (crazy how they decided to just end the season last year after the regular season and we finished 12-0 without going to a bowl game, isn't it??!)

My thought is that Vegas has it much closer to -8 but they are setting it around -2 because the vast majority of the money is going to go on the Gophers anyway, so why not give yourself the cushion? They'd rather have 95% of the money on +2 than 99% of the money on +6. I'm just spitballin' though.
