With the jurors coming back with a unanimous verdict so quickly (relatively speaking) I was pretty sure he was going to be guilty on all 3 counts. Waters is an idiot but that's not going to change anything on appeal. He will likely get 12.5 years with opportunity for parole in 8 or so.

That's kind of my point though. We have been winning a lot more than them but they're still getting all of these recruits and we're doing the opposite.

It's frustrating to watch 2-win Iowa State pull in good recruits and transfers left and right while Iowa lands nobody and is actually losing key players.

I mean if Iowa is a farm system then all but a dozen or so teams will be farm systems for the big boys. You can get good players to come to Iowa. Look at ISU under Prohm with Haliburton, Horton-Tucker and Wigginton. Prohm couldn't coach but he showed that you can get pretty good players to come...

I think Mulvey will probably play at least 15 minutes a game, out of necessity if nothing else. I would be surprised if Sandfort is much of a contributor his freshman year. He doesn't have the physicality and unlike Weiskamp his game isn't going to immediately translate to the D1 level.
