Iowa's Great Offensive Line and Senior QB

Hell the kid from Penn St beat us with his feet.

    Time to go Brian

Good for him but that doesn't make him the most qualified candidate to be our next Oline coach. Although he most likely would be an improvement over what we have now.

    2 Pedos Guilty of Targeting

Yeah I was shocked the call on #18 was overturned and this is clearly targeting by #54. No question. He launches and leads with the head toward a defenseless player. I don't recall anyone even mentioning it on the broadcast. Not surprising since it was another cultist Blackledge. Anyone hear...

    This Guy Gets It

I hear what you're saying, but he is a former qb who is coaching the line who had zero experience doing that before coming here. So maybe he just isn't a natural line coach. Just like our OC who was never a qb and obviously doesn't think like one.

    This Guy Gets It

Because at the time Pops asked Jr who he would like to be HIS OC in five years. Jr pulled his thumb from his mouth and said that guy from that school with the green and yellow outfits that kicked our ass. Give em credit. That family thinks long-term. They have had a plan in place for awhile...

Smith Calls Out Stanley In Postgame

Ince, Kallenberger, the Paulsens and others are not freshmen. BF recruited and helped develop some of these guys. Have we ever had Wisconsin's model? Do they recruit 240 - 260 lb lineman and attempt to add 50 lbs or more onto their frames? This takes a few years and neutralizes or diminishes...

    Urban Analysis....Iowa at Michigan

Jesus are you lumping KOK in with Derp and Jr? Blasphemy! He won a freaking Orange Bowl. Lol!! Do you really believe if Rhabdo happened today Kirk would be seated at that table being "grilled" by the Iowa media? There would the father of some imaginary player beneath the 3 deep, a first year...

    Urban Analysis....Iowa at Michigan

Your impressive font doesn't make it true. Just not a fan of nepotism and entitlement and unaccountability. Kirk has been both unaccountable off the field (rhabdo) as well as on. He is now even providing cover for Jr. as he pushes him forward. But I can put country before party. The next...

    The World Did Not End!

Yes, the football program is self supporting but that also means we help pay his salary, which was $5.075 million in 2017 not $4 million, by buying tickets and merchandise and limp, mystery meat hot dogs. Of course the contributions of the average fan pale in comparison to the contributions of...

    Urban Analysis....Iowa at Michigan

There is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't be Wisconsin's equal. We haven't been for several years. Do you agree? How many coaches has Wisky had during Kirk's tenure? Four. They have all.out performed Kirk. Wisconsin has 33 more victories than us since 1999. Approximately 1.75 more wins per...

    Urban Analysis....Iowa at Michigan

There is nothing stopping KF from hiring ex head coaches. Or attempting to hire those guys. Nothing at all. Period. He chooses not to. It is not an issue of money. His coordinators will probably be making one million bucks by the time he retires in 2-3 years. It is all about setting up Jr. That...

Yes. You see this on Friday night's. You know, from high school coaches.

Re-watched the second half of the game ...

Good point about the lack of motion. I really wonder how they devise their offensive gameplans but regardless it doesn't seem Brian is good at in-game adjustments. I am having trouble linking it but a quick interesting read is the comments Joe Staley makes about Klye Shanahan predicting George...

Re-watched the second half of the game ...

Credit to you for putting yourself through that. You said you didn't rewatch the first half or the last drive? Do you ever follow Hawkeye GameFilm? They said #65 (Lindebaum) had his first hiccups of the year. Maybe you missed some of that. I think we all saw Wirfs get beat on that last (?) drive...

    The World Did Not End!

These are good points but this might be where we diverge. These recent hires and additions and shuffling of coaches seems to have one goal in mind and that is the advancement of Brian Ferentz's career track. I am not saying Kirk doesn't want to win but he obviously has ulterior motives and are...

    The World Did Not End!

) The buck stops at the desk of the head coach and offensive coordinator. Period. They were responsible for yesterday. Jackson didn't look ready. Did Kallenberger get any reps? It can't be easy for Wirfs to be thrown back and forth, right to left and back again. No adjustments to their...

Ok, after going for a walk, here is my optimistic take, but still not great odds

It really is inexcusable. The coaching on the offensive side of the ball was the worst I have seen in years. They weren't even close to being prepared. What the hell did they do last week? Strutting around because they set a record for yards gained in the Kirk era? Against Middle bleepin...

Need to Clean up a few things

Did Stanley eat his burger while lying on the floor of the bus?

    KOK making really good coin.
