It was the right decision but I feel bad for Fran and his boys. Fran ran a clean program with very little off the court issues. He just couldn't get the Hawks over the hump. Good luck Fran and hopefully you get to enjoy watching your youngest play ball at Butler.

I couldn't agree more. It just seems inevitable that wholesale changes all around the program are going to happen after the season.

I really enjoyed the way Davis coached and it was a really entertaining product on the court. Fran's teams are a bit harder to watch play even though they usually score a lot. Davis's teams had more successes in the Big Dance. Fran is better at developing players and spotting the hidden gems...

Totally agree on the Ferrari and Arnold take. What is the thing Kueter is missing? Is he too small at heavyweight against the top guys? He looks to be in good shape, but gets gassed once he's wrestling from behind.

Does Iowa have many wrestling donors that can make a difference and where do we stand with the NIL budget comparable to PSU? Are we as far away as we are on the mat?

I know Iowa's wrestling program has the brand new training center, but how does it compare to Penn St, Okie St and the other top programs? I would imagine OSU has nice facilities with all that Boone Pickens money.

The thing I like most about JuJu other than her game is her character. When reporters or announcers talk to her about how she compares to Clark or Paige or anyone else for that matter, she deflects and has nothing but praise for those that came before her. Just like Caitlin has always done.
