It's been an issue all year but NW is probably the worst case. It doesn't show up as much against weak teams because the match-ups aren't as bad without Fant.

If Fant draws too much attention, that creates a weakness somewhere else, and that’s a good thing. I would hope KF understands this but sometimes it doesn’t seem like it.

Fant was only in 15 of 63 plays against NW apparently. Stanley has nothing to do with that. He did factor in who was in the game and that's why he checked down all game. I've posted this before but we are a bad team without Fant, Hockenson and B Smith in the game. Our WRs are below average...

I call BS. You’re talking about a program that would welcome anyone, including LP and the Peter brothers, if it would help them win football games. Nebraska wanted Fant to play DE.

For some reason I think this one was the worst, other than 2009, and that’s just because we had so much riding in 2009. Not having Fant on the field a large portion of the game, among other things, pisses me off more than anything that happened in those previous games.

That may be a sign that Petras is obviously the next QB. Maybe he’s that good, idk.

I think Petras has played in one game so it would be possible to play him in all remaining games and still not burn his redshirt I think.
