The only real trend is consistent mediocrity. Iowa has been relegated to 2nd tier in the conference and cannot escape from there with Kirk running the show. It is extremely frustrating to be so close yet so far away.

Had at least 9 wins every season except one, which was 7. One 11, one 10, and one 12 win season. The title game appearance was a joke though. They didn't even win their conference and enjoyably got ass-whipped by Miami. I don't believe in Karma, but it does kind of seem like it's happening...

They really had the schedule THIS year to make an improvement. I figured they would win 7 or 8 games....very glad to be wrong. I believe they also lose a lot on D next year...so combine it with that schedule, yes they could be in big trouble again.
