The "forced into the ball" rule is when a offensive player is intentionally pushing them into or near the ball. Blocking that takes place near the ball and happens to touch a player is NOT forced.

He wasn't "forced"....blocked into is different. He was blocking and ran into it....not forced. Big difference. Hawks got hosed on that one.

Disappointment in general stems from unmet expectations, which often results from unrealistic expectations...FWIW

I don't have the time, but off the top of my head I'm guessing that most teams don't find the "diamond in the rough" coach after firing their previous coach. Seems like more times than not, programs/fans, etc. get really fickle with coaches, but hiring new ones don't pan out.

I agree, and I don't think his comments were that big of a deal. I guess it might be more honest of him to say "yeah, I know teams are changing things up a bit, but it's just not my thing"....I doubt he truly doesn't realize the "craze".

I don't intend this to bash KF, but saying you're too old to understand the uniform craze is like saying you're too old to communicate via email. Times change and if its a craze that's getting recruits and bringing positive attention the program, then do it.
