I don't think the powers that be have heard the last of the Hawks. It will take some time but I will bet we are humming again by the latter part of next season.

Portillos is the restaurant to have in the food court. They do a lot of things very well. And their coca cola cake is heaven itself.

There is plenty of practice time to get routes right and blocking right. Further, the offense practices against one of the best defenses in the country. Move up 30 places on offense and you have got something. Move up 30 more places the next year.

It is all about money. As long as they turn a profit there will be a game. I think Fryowa's idea has a lot of merit and would be a fun watch for the fans.

Lisa Bluder certainly deserves every kudo she gets. One of the great coaches in Iowa history. She coached at least three national players of the year. And she left the program totally under control with a great successor. Has any other Iowa coach done that?

Perhaps the Fever should hire Lisa Bluder as head coach. I hate to see her give up retirement but she is one of the greatest coaches ever at Iowa.

Looks like CC is taking over the coaching of the Fever. It would only help them if she did.

The O/U for Nebby and Iowa should tell you all you need to know about gambling. If you gamble put your money where the deck is not stacked. Enrich your friends and not your enemies. Also we should note that Nebby fans gambling with the big boys means less money to nebby for acquiring players.

A great career and retirement at the top. One could not wish more for Coach Bluder. Go Jan and staff!
