Uhl did attack the glass..about 3 times I remember..He made some nice moves and got his shot off cleanly ,but they just rimmed out. His outside shot has been off. The games against MSU it seemed like everything they threw up went in.

The 70 team sounds amazing, but they played in a 10 member conference at the time. Likely played a round robin schedule. How bad was the conference at that time?

Iowa has been in every game they have lost..Had the ball bounced our way ,could have won. Most of our games have been double digit wins and could have been worse had Fran didn't take the foot off the gas. Indiana has a few more butt kickins coming their way.

Thanks for the link. After watching it,its really not as bad as I envisioned. It was a douchy move, absolutely intentional and he should have been ejected from the game. Marhyland is fast becoming the team I want to hate the most right behind Wiscy and MSU..Mainly due to their douchy home crowds...

Imagine how much worse they would be without that magic. Iowa is a very good team with or without a great home crowd. But it would be so much more fun if our crowds were like Hilton.

If it wasn't for Hilton magic..ISU would be an avg to poor team. What they do have is an awsome venue for playing basketball and I am very envious of that. Carver can't hold a candle to Hilton when it comes to hostile atmosphere. It really pisses me off that our athletic dept will not do...

The amazing thing about that is that so far it hasn't imploded on ISU. I don't know how they managed to make a team work out of so many head cases. The mayor must be the headcase whisperer. Interesting to see if the new kid can continue those ways.

Is it any surprise that there are maybe 5 to 10 teams that have a legit chance to win the NCAA? NCAA only punishes schools that are non bluebloods. Kansas ,Duke,UNC, Kentucky, Louisville..take turns winning the damn thing.

Mostly agree, however last night, we allowed a ton of wide open looks from 3 that Maryland missed. Had they made half of those,we would have got buried. Most of our misses were due to good defense on their part. Not many open looks. I still think we would beat them on a nuetral court and easily...
