One could also say the KF just hates points period, points being scored on his defense and his offense scoring points. It magically lines up well with his “keep it close philosophy” despite not ending up on the right side of it the majority of the time.

The most important and concerning word in Rob’s article title: Another. This is a program who cannot get over the hump and it’s another outcome that we’ve all seen before. One could argue that we still have never recovered from the fake punt against Wisconsin seemingly eons ago.

I’m tired of being fatigued about my Ferentz fatigue. We lose next week, take a pounding from WI, and then it’s basically another lost season of Iowa football. It’s so beyond moribund it’s almost comical.

I’d say 8-4 most likely with 9-3 as the ceiling. Just missing out on Indy again. Still a really good year playing a legitimate schedule.
