Maybe he did, but if Kreiner would have backed him up like he should have, it wouldn't have even been an issue. Even with our poor shooting, if we would have just boxed out and not given up so many offensive boards, we win!
Yeah, we've pulled a few out, and it's been exciting, but other than Michigan, we haven't really played well for awhile. I think they're capable, but need to step it up from here on out.
The first 10 minutes of the game was some of the worst basketball I've ever seen by both teams. The way we played tonight, if Maryland was playing well we'd have been blown out!
Yeah, I didn't realize in college the clock stops on a score in the last minute of the game and in OT. I also didn't know that if there is 0.3 or less left on the clock, the only thing that is allowed is a tip or deflection. A "shot" is not allowed. I guess that's to guard against home...
Who called the timeout? The clock doesn't stop when a basket is made. Did they tell the ref before the play they wanted a timeout on a score? If not, no way you can get a TO called in. 2 seconds.
Edit... Maybe it does... Never paid that much attention and don't remember from my playing days.
I wish the best for him, but I just don't see it unless he develops a shot outside 4 feet! I wish he'd come back, and I think he'd be better off in the long run.
