    Foster

Iowa could have a really good team next year if they get Foster. Potentially a great team if they also land Murrell.

    Ahron Ulis Commits to Iowa

That pull up mid range jumper was nasty.

    Foster

That's what I read too. He also said Iowa coaches told him they see Aaron White in his game.

    Foster

Iowa is also recruiting Max Murrell who is a 6-9 PF. Having four legit players that can play the 5 and three that can play the 4 will be fine. Especially for one season.

    Pass Rush & DL Rotation

Need better coverage to not allow the 1st or even 2nd option to be open every play. I'd like to see more blitzing. Bring it from different places and often. Keep the offense off balance and force them to keep a RB in the backfield all game. There were multiple times where AJE would have gotten...

Peeps are saying that Joe T is better than advertised

The FT % thing isn't a huge concern in my eyes because Cook was never a great FT shooter and he was often in the game late. Pemsl hasn't been a good FT shooter in the past. But he is probably the weakest FT shooter on the team. I expect to see Nunge Kriener or Garza in as our post players at the...

    Martin OK'd

I think it speaks to how good of a player Martin is. If he has the opportunity to play then they want him to be ready to play significant snaps and know what he is supposed to be doing.

    Martin OK'd

I think this should just be the game thread.

    Martin OK'd

If I had to guess Rob's source I would say its family of Martin. Which is why he didn't want to bother the source with a rumor. My guess is your source is a booster that happened to guess correctly that Martin would transfer.

Bowen Born's Relationship with Iowa Rapidly Advancing

That will be one tough backcourt to defend.

    Foster

Hoiberg is at Nebraska. Foster seems like the type that will weigh all his options. I do like Iowa being the last visit and being the weekend of the Penn State game will make for a great atmosphere for him to visit in.

Peeps are saying that Joe T is better than advertised

Joe T and Connor fit more at the 1 th as n at the 2. Evelyn has the shooting ability to play off ball more. Also his assist to turnover ratio in a mid major conference was not good. I believe most minutes that he gets will be at the 2. Now maybe Connor has greatly improved his 3PT shot or Joe T...

Peeps are saying that Joe T is better than advertised

Of our 4 true guards in Joe T, Connor, BK, and CJ, I see all 4 getting similar minutes every night. But 3 of them have yet to play a game for us and Connor, showed weakness in shooting last year. I hope that Joe T is a defensive stopper at the PG spot.

    2020 Andre Jackson

4 tough schools to beat out but this would be a huge pickup for Iowa. Anyone know his decision timeline?

Newly Offered Martice Mitchell Hoping to Visit Hawkeyes

That's a good question considering that Foster is the higher ranked recruit overall but his offers aren't as good as Mitchell. Of the highlights that I have seen of both of them, Foster has the better game at this time. Foster is also a little more well built at this time. Those could both...

Newly Offered Martice Mitchell Hoping to Visit Hawkeyes

Another SF or 3, would probably be where Iowa looks to add someone if they don't add two bigs. Agreed?

Newly Offered Martice Mitchell Hoping to Visit Hawkeyes

That reminds me of when BlackHeartGoldPants did a fake article on Woodbury quitting basketball and becoming a pro wrestler and Dan Dakich thought it was real.

Newly Offered Martice Mitchell Hoping to Visit Hawkeyes

Having a rim protector type of player I think would really help Iowa defensively. Iowa has missed having solid defense in the post ever since Woodbury and Olenseni have been gone. Woodbury wasn't a shot blocker but he was good with positioning.

    Ahron Ulis Commits to Iowa

Gritty point guards like Ulis and Toussaint are the types of players that Iowa has lacked under Fran for the most part. Excited to see who joins him in the 2020 recruiting class. I'd say they need one center or power forward for sure.

    Marble

I agree. The only think that makes sense to me is that White is making more money overseas and doesn't want to make less for a year or so to just play in the G League.
