Locked out of HN Extra despite unauthorized charge/renewal to credit card

I am locked out too. Noticed today that my credit card was charged but I am locked out of HN extra. I did not go in and renew. If credit cards are going to be charged auto-renew style then accounts should not be getting locked out.
