Ames High is gonna hold it out as a badge of honor though, taking it a sign of their "new greatness" by playing a game against a program of the historical caliber of Notre Dame. (nevermind that it's a shit bowl)
Yeah I do, generally better products are better for your brand. The shit that I just watched (intermittently between switching between NFL games) sucked, which is why I don't tune into any ESPN programs unless it's an absolute necessity.
This show is f'ing awful. Just announce the games in an hour and be done with it. Pointless ass chatter for 2 hours is brutal; Reminds me of that god awful NCAA tournament selection a few years ago.
That's what I'm saying. No reason why we can't have the same caliber of players/coaching as Wisconsin. Taylor probably wouldn't have even started at Iowa until the 10th game if KF went into the season with Sargant as the feature back.
Frost, Harbaugh, and Fleck are all insufferable coaches who are super easy to cheer against. And look how all of their games turned out this weekend...
As much as I'd love to play Bama in the Citrus, wouldn't they take Michigan over Iowa? Michigan-Alabama is a higher profile matchup nationally than Iowa-Alabama.
Michigan-OSU is officially dead to me after today. I mean, Michigan isn't competitive enough to make it fun anymore. It's just a rout in favor of OSU every year. Harbaugh won't get it done at Mich.
Iowa State is such a joke. Hyped up as possibly the best season in decades and the best they can muster is an average 7-5 in a pathetic conference. Their program gained a bit of momentum (not hard when you're that bad) and the ISU fanbase got cocky. Hope Campbell leaves them in the dust after...
Bad calls in this game for sure but Iowa has no one to blame but their fucking selves. Awful coaching decisions, dropped passes, freshman mistakes, pick six, fumbles...
