I agree with a lot of that. Myself , I look at what happens in the last 3-4 minutes of the 1st half and the first 10 of the second half. I know they are 40 minute games, but that middle third or so really seems important and seems to be a good indicator of blow out, close or chance.
Didn't...
I guess I see the offense get about as many plays out of it as other offenses. We just can't go beyond the offense with opportunity and urgency, rebounding or ball control.
That said, looks to me like we could use some weak side back door cuts or something. Lot of attention on 1/3 to 1/2...
In the '70s, sat behind one of the beams - not so good. In .76, I sat in a folding chair on the floor and watched the undefeated Indiana team (Bucner, Benson, etc.).
As I recall, the place could get smokin' hot, too.
Thank you, Debbie Downer.
I am always curious why a fan (fanatic) should dial back their expectations or be "realistic" (pessimistic mostly). Just don't get so geared up that you become suicidal. It is a game after all.
Otherwise, go nuts. It is our U of I Hawkeyes!
I say undefeated...
I have to remeber to use this in the right place somewhere in the future.
"You have Oliver Stones" Means you are making stuff up in a conspiratorial fashion and posting/saying it.
