Actually Burr is a good official. On the downhill side of his career but he can definitely call. Wish we saw more of him and less of Valentine.

What kills me is the complaining by the ND coach is that they didnt get to play at home(or nearby) as they were a number 1 seed. Especially since they missed the deadline to submit the paperwork to host. She should tell her athletic dept to get their act together.

I go to University of Houston games and they have always sold beer(and margaritas). Its a pretty civil atmosphere. But thats the only way they would fill it up. But its a different environment than Kinnick. Have never seen a fight there.

Drive by my house in Houston. I have GO IOWA Texas plates and have had since 82. Amazingly enough on Westheimer in Houston(a main drag), I saw a car with Texas plates IA HAWKS. Honked but couldnt get their attention. Hard to get in Iowa. Easy in Texas.

Or better yet, some of the women calling college basketball are better than a lot of the mens officials. Granted its a different game, but Lisa Mattingly is the best official in the country(men or women). Not an accident we didnt see Hightower in latter part of tournament.
