GO4ROZS, so what is your story? How many tickets did you request, How many did you get, How many points do you have, when were you first turned down, Did you contact the ticket office after being turned down? Stuff like that.
Thanks
When I travel to cities that I am not familiar with, I use tripadvisor.com to see what other travels think.
Here is the Tucson hotel rank list at tripadvisor.

I saw on another board today that someone called the ticket office to find out when they might hear something. They were told it may be mid-June before most people hear anything.
A PR from the ticket office may be helpful if it is going to take this long. The original PR stated that new...
As more people report in, it seems priority points are playing a major role in what tickets one gets. I like this for two reasons: 1) It seems fair and 2) I have some points.
For those who have told me in the past that my degree was just a piece of paper, well not so at IOWA. It is worth...
Congratulations 03bizHawk!
Knowing that points do make a difference is very good to hear, especially for anryone with points that has not heard anything as yet, like me.
Through today, it seems that of those that have been contacted by the ticket office, more have heard some sort of bad news - no additional tickets, less tickets than requested or just the 2 game offer.
It also appears that priority points are not the sole criteria for these decisions.
All in...
03bizHawk, Have you contacted the ticket office to determine exactly why you did not get season tickets? It may be a small hope but I would hope that they just skewed up and maybe would reconsider if you contested their decision based on your points. It sure does not seem fair.
Some have...
We are all making educated guesses. No one seems to know what the factors are that get people season tickets versus getting a 2 game option. Although, at this point it does not seem that priority points alone get you season tickets.
It also seems that hearing no word last week may turn out...

I have been thinking about the numbers reported in the original U of I PR.
Finke said she has received requests for season tickets to the seven home games of the nationally ranked 2010 University of Iowa football team from more than 2,300 fans of the Hawkeyes who would be considered “new...
I have heard reports of persons with 10 points or more being offered the 2 game package while persons with fewer or even no points being offered full season ticket packages, although fewer tickets than than requested. This seems to make no sense but the U of I must have some sort of a plan. It...
I also have not heard anything from the ticket office and I feel that is a GOOD thing.
I am a first time season ticket applicant and have 10 points. I asked for 2 season tickets. I am beginning to think that the ticket office PLAN is to send out emails by groups.
First to 2009 season...
Maybe I am not as anti-boo as I thought. If any team did this at Kinnick, I would boo the entire game and I would continue to boo even after we kicked the crap out of them.
I do agree that booing is just a personal thing. It is not evil or anything. My work involves encouraging and developing youth so I probably am "over the top" on this issue. You boo if you want, I will not boo and life goes on. As long as the Hawks win, of course.
HandsyHobo, Your analogy would be accurate if no one challenged a booing hawkeye fan. I was suggesting fans that find booing distasteful confront those that are booing. I think anything that makes boo birds stop and think about what they are doing is worth a try.
However, my suggestion may...
Can one person change everyones idea about booing at Iowa games? NO. Can one person change one other persons idea about booing at Iowa games? Of Course. This is how change happens. It won't happen overnight but it can happen. We need to influence those that we can. One thing seems certain...
I agree with all of the above and especially that booing teams shows no class.
I posted a similar message in the "Let's start a new tradition" thread.
I only get to a couple of games each year as I live out of state but when I hear fans around me booing the other team, I say something...
