    Who replaces KF

Do people really think Brian Ferentz will takeover? Is there any precedent for this kind of nepotism at such a high level of the sport? A quick google search can find countless articles and lists of father-son coaching tandems. But hiring one's son as a grad assistant or positional coach is one...

Power 5 Schools Not Playing an FCS Opponent in '19

There are a lot of big programs that would rather play a non-P5 team than NDSU

Fran Says Moss Wants Expanded Role

Love the optimism. But it's absolutely ridiculous to forecast CJ as a stronger contributor than Moss. That has to be a joke.

    Hoiberg with the Crean

Haha seems to be inferring a comparison. Moss is significantly better at basketball Brady Ellingson

Elite WR talent in our backyard

I think you're spot on with comments about route running and WR technique. But I think it's naive for us to say this kid's 40 time is slow. He's young and, at the risk of sounding really creepy... I'm sure he's physically developing, as all HS athletes do. He's also "winning" combine events...

Elite WR talent in our backyard

4.7 is fast for a big framed HS receiver.

Elite WR talent in our backyard

You're right. I think we're all in agreement that Iowa needs to get this kid. But I also think there is some hypocrisy in this conversation and in the thread title. Iowa's fanbase takes a lot of pride in the anti-combine football culture. And there is no real indication that he's an elite WR...

    Tyler Cook Makes It Official

Really hope to turn on an NBA game in a few years and see TC absolutely hammer the rim on a pick-roll dunk.

Iowa lands Big Time TE Elijah Yelverton

Can we agree star count is especially meaningless for "underclassmen" ?

    Best QB in KF era

Agreed. But for me, McNutt and DJK are 1 and 2 in the KF era and that about wraps up the argument. Davis wasn't bad either, certainly not a conventional "3rd receiver" type that we've seen at Iowa. He was as athletic as anyone.

This. The NBA evaluation process is a thing now (and it's a great thing). I hope the internet figures it out soon. So many click-baity twitter people doing what they do with misleading headlines...

Build your best O from KF Era

I spent my childhood in the backyard running around, trying to be like Brad Banks. I get it. I only mean that CFB offenses have evolved a lot in 15 years. Not saying Iowa's has gotten better...

Build your best O from KF Era

I'm torn on this. Clearly these guys are 1-2, in some order. Based on the runner-up Heisman, and great childhood memories of that team, I think you probably put Banks as the starter. But to an extent, this becomes a matter of debating eras. Do you think QBs like Banks would be as good in...

Way Too Early 19-20 Rankings for Iowa

Build your best O from KF Era

Not a lot of love for DJK either. While McNutt probably put together the best career at WR, DJK was the best WR I think Iowa has had. He could literally do it all, he could run every route, deep threat, catch screens, run after the catch, score, incredible feel for the first down line, return...
