As we said to start this season, and have said throughout this year.. This team is young, meaning mental mistakes, frustrating turnovers and bonehead Defense.. That being said, this team has grown up A LOT in this season, more than I would have expected with more success than I would have...

Didn't think so. Seems like some of y'all forget that this team is extremely young. That being said, I love this damn team and love Fran as a Head Coach! Go Hawkseyes!

Well, I mean.. we did lose Parker, Scheel, and another player.. that opens scholarships.

I'l be honest.. I did enjoy his interview on B1G Football and Beyond. Full of energy, and fire. Kind of coach kids want to play for. And no, I'm not dogging on Kirk Ferentz. Just pointing out that I enjoy coaches with high energy and fire.

He's an opponent. He didn't commit to his hometown team, instead he went to foe. Will not wish him support or good luck. I hope he excels as a student and doesn't get injured, but fails as a player.

It's not going to last long. It's only a matter of time before there recruiting pushes them above. Truth is, they're starting to turn recruits heads and get them to commit to Lincoln.. while Iowa is struggling pretty badly even getting a recruit that's a mid-lower tier player to even visit.

Nebraska picked up a commit from a 4* WR from California today and we can't even pick up a recruit who's decommitted from Rutgers, Minnesota, or a MAC team. Things are great in Iowa City.

That's what I figured considering his tweet the other day about his coach and stuff and a picture with Ferentz. Was curious as to if anyone was flipping here.

I'm still nervous on Oliver.. Part of me thinks he's taking all these visits prior to committing so he doesn't have a scholarship pulled.. But also part of me thinks he's taking all these visits because he's still very unsure. I pray he chooses Iowa.. But completely understand that his position...

I'm not saying it's "fine".. But I'd be FAR more worried about it if we had a veteran team.

Makes me really uneasy with who we're going against for Oliver. The product they put out on Offense and Schemes are more fun for WRs than what we run.

I've seen a few posts questioning it on here and quite a few naysayers on social media.

Social Media is a Kirk thing.. But I agree. Let them use it. It's the modern day now, these kids are raised with social media and interaction. Not allowing them to use it is mind boggling.
