There is not a worse offense for a Qb or a receiver in the country! I have said that Iowa could have tom Brady at Qb and they would still suck. They need a new offense and thus a new coach.

AGREE!!!. that assist/turnover stat must be the worst stat there is. Gesell was easily on of the worst point guards in the tournament. He tried his best, but PG was easily our worst position and MUST be NUMBER 1 priority in the coming years. Washpun was unguardable in the tournament by contrast

I thought the same thing on Bohannon. All he had to do was stand. he didn't need to move and he would have been better than lohaus. Literally only took 1 inbounds pass with a foul and game was over.

UNI brand???? What brand? The announcers kept saying from cedar rapids. They increased what little brand they have by BEING in these games.

As bad and heartbreaking as UNI's loss was, they dominated a #3 seed for nearly the entire game. We rolled over and were NEVER competitive. I guess i would take losing the UNI way, because they showed they belong. we showed we did not.

sorry, i am an iowa fan all my life, but jacobsen is a far better coach than Fran. If Bohannon doesn't get hurt, they win by 10. Lohaus was afraid to throw the ball in and missed wide open guys. the only criticism may be to switch to a different inbounds guy, but that is easier said than done...

Helps to have a coach who teaches defense, attempts to exploit mismatches, and generally is a much better coach than our own. Does anyone think UNI HAS superior athletes to Iowa?

I hate to agree, but I do completely. Not at all impressed with coaching. When did uthoff ever post up, despite routine 3-5 inch height advantage. Needs better athletes, but who doesn't? In game adjustments just not that good. Player development very spotty. All in all a successful year, just...
