Game Report: Hawkeyes Keep It Rolling at Home Against Ohio State

Rob, a win over Iowa State is far more detrimental than any loss to Nebraska. I thought that was obvious.

    John Beilein's Available

At 67, he built a nice annuity in Cleveland. Although he probably won’t get the whole nut if he “resigned”.

Game Report: Hawkeyes Keep It Rolling at Home Against Ohio State

The Hawks had to play Iowa State. That’s killing them in these rankings.

Cordell Pemsl Talked Today About His Recent Suspension

It was selfish act. He knew better and still elected to disregard it. Yes, they’ll forgive him (it doesn’t matter if we do) but it was still selfish. He shouldn’t have put his teammates in a position of having to forgive him. It may have cost them the IU game.

Did Nate level off his last season?

Level off as the season went along? I don't see it that way. He was very good in the USC game. He was good in the Illinois and Minnesota game. At the end of the Nebraska game he was very good. Within those games he had some off plays, but it wasn't a general, as the season wore on...

Yes, back when being a "power" forward really meant something.

You can't use that word "male" anymore. He didn't identify by these old labels. Come on, keep up.

No, but Mitch Kupchak was. He'd be on that list.

Gopher fans chanting “We hate Iowa”

Don't you have to love something first before you hate it so much? Clearly Minnesota fans' obsession has taken on a Freudian quality to it; I think they have mom issues.

Garza favorite to win the Wooden....

Incredible. From where he was last year until now. Wow. He's a testament to hard work and determination. Even if someone else beats him out, he'll get votes. No way was this on anyone's radar in November, maybe except Frank's.

    Rotation without CJ

Bottom line - Kriener must elevate his play. If he continues to muddles about, without CJ, this team is in trouble. I don't like being reactionary (except while the games are going on, at which point I am nothing but reactionary), but, he's a senior, the time is now - he must step into the...

    Kallenberger and Schott

That certainly seems plausible. However, if Britt comes on at guard, and they like Schott at guard, I can see Kallenberger going out to tackle - he got better as the season went along and I think he'll only continue to improve. In other words, while they'll miss Wirfs, no doubt, the line...

Garza Great no one else above bad

Wieskamp isn't "bad", although I would like to see him "assert" himself into the offense more often, because now it's down to him and Garza. McCaffrey isn't "bad" - he's not going to give Iowa points, but he adds value to the team. Joe T hasn't progressed as I thought he might, he seems to...

What is the deal with Kriener. I thought earlier in the year he would be a real asset in the conference but he’s been virtually invisible. It’s confounding.
