Too late now but I agreed with this. I think Iowa had a better shot at a jump in SOS by beating an undefeated East rival that just beat another undefeated Top 10 team then we would get beating a 4 -5 win Neb team with a single good win.

If OSU wins out they are in. If MSU wins out they are in. If Iow wins out including a win over an undefeated team, they are in. Only way B10 is left out is if they have no undefeated team to offer. ND does not get in in that scenario unless B12 has no undefeated teams to offer.

I think the biggest change should be made with scheduling. These big conferences need to schedule each other home and away. Possibly reduce conference schedule by a game to allow revenue to still flow to the smaller schools. Also each conference that wants consideration needs a championship...
