He's going through the process. Iowa maybe could have gotten a commit if we offered earlier but we didn't. Even if we had gotten a commit, given what he's done at these camps, there's probably a good chance he would be taking his visits anyway. Good for him to check it all out. I trust Rob that...
I should clarify. Most other sites show him as a top 10 QB, not a top 10 pick overall. But if that CBS writer is correct he probably would be a top 10 guy.
I can't find the link but it was on cbs sportsline website showing CJ as second. Other websites don't have him as high but in the top 10. Too early for much accuracy outside of the kid from Clemson.
We'll go as far as the defense takes us. The games we've lost or played bad and almost lost, we've played bad defense.
When we've played our best we've transitioned defense into offense. When we haven't, it's been close.
All that said, I'm sure Iowa has told him if he's wavering then his schollie is up in the air and they've prepared for this. So, I wouldn't be surprised if we hear of a new non walk on commit soon
Still just a kid. I hope it works out for him. If it doesn't, it's an early lesson in life. Either way best of luck to him.
If he decides to go to Iowa, he'll see an actual commitment from the school he goes to and not vice verse.
Whatever he decides I have faith we'll be fine. No negativity...
Agreed and they are on both sides. It would be terrible to have to deal with the rough weather out there. You save money by not going and you spend it to have some memories. Sucks to have one of them be that we lost, but don't think for a second that all folks who went down there hated the trip...
Nice matchup breakdown. I think it's going to come down to our ability to rebound and then see how the game is being called and deal with that. Purdue is diet MSU. Love to play the same defense where it's in your face and fouling. Just depends on how they call it. If we can keep it close and...
