The defense is playing great except for one blown coverage. One play away from holding them to 53 yards of offense in the first half. I have a feeling we're really going to be kicking ourselves for missing those two FGs later in the game.

Should have been targeting on that hit. I think they also could've been called for kick-catch interference. The gunner was right in his face when he caught it.

We can only hope!

Special teams are really letting us down today. Two blocked FGs and the kickoff out of bounds are killing us. We could be up 13-0 right now.

Dammit, that hurt. We had them right where we wanted them and give up the big play, Gotta match it on the next drive, but it's going to be a bit harder. I'm sure that big play will motivate their defense.

A lot of ballgame left, but we're dominating the stat line right now in every category except penalties (both teams have 2).

I think you should use your fastest offensive weapon on a jet sweep. I believe that's Wetjen at the moment.

The hit didn't look that bad in realtime. The crowd was very upset about it. One of the fans threw their seat back on the field right over the Illinois sideline. It happened in the section I was sitting in. However, I think it was definitely the right call after watching the TV replay.

A lot of people are leaving after that punt.
